Overview
Opened in 2010 and designed by Adrian Smith, the Burj Khalifa rises 828m across 163 floors. The observation decks on floors 124, 125 and 148 offer the most photographed view in the Middle East. 'At the Top SKY' on level 148 is the highest in the world, with private lounge access, refreshments and an outdoor terrace.

History & heritage
Adrian Smith of SOM designed the building to evoke the Hymenocallis desert flower. The Y-shaped floor plan reduces wind load and maximises views. The spire alone is 200m tall.
